The working mechanism of ball valves
A ball valve is a one-way valve that controls the flow of liquid or gas by using a hollow, perforated, pivoted ball. To start the flow or to block the flow, the ball and the bore inside rotates to 90 degrees angle. A shaft connects the ball placed on two seats and the control system. When the cross-section of the bore is perpendicular to the area of the flow, the fluid passage is blocked. The fluid flow rate depends on the bore area.
